This week I started a new job. It’s longer hours so I am having to re-arrange my life a little bit and work out a new routine.
I will still be posting recipes but it might be slightly less frequently than usual.
I like to try out any new recipes at least a couple of times before I write them up and post them to make sure they are working well. I have quite a few ideas lined up, but now it’s a case of finding time!
I know I will reach a balance soon, and with the days getting longer my energy is increasing.
Getting home and it’s still daylight is a real treat after the darkness of winter days. But my plans for spending time in the garden this weekend have been thwarted by the weather.
Yet another storm is due, with warnings of strong winds and very heavy rain, flooding looks likely.
Hopefully the weather will settle down a bit soon, spring is definitely on it’s way. There are primroses and pulmonaria flowering well and the first daffodils are peeking out.
The garden is full of little birds chattering and singing away, and one massive pheasant who comes for his lunch every day! I think the cat is little intimidated by him, they leave each other well alone! He’s rather fabulous and quite fat and he tends to climb through the fence instead of flying over it!
